That sounds like you are talking about the fan sender whereas the thread was talking about the temp gauge sender. The fan switch and sender is the same on the Mk2 and Mk3 Fiesta, the temp gauge sender is the same on the Mk2 and Mk3 CVH engined cars but the Zetec temp gauge is physically different.
