Jim. The angle isn't a lot, i'm fairly sure i've heard  a figure of 8 
degrees forward mentioned, i think it was just to allow the bonnet to make 
a more pleasing shape. I can't find any confirmation online so it's 
entirely possible i've got it all wrong. I'm in west wales by the way.

Martin Fairly sure it's a genuine loss of pressure, the oil warning light 
comes on and a few seconds later the engine starts to make a clattery 
noise.I knew it had this problem and had been driven, with warning light on 
and making a noise, for a few miles when i bought it.
