Quartz composer just freezes (not responding state) when the image output of the movie loader patch is linked to the input of a renderer patch like the billboard.
That should absolutely not happen. Are there any messages in the Console when this happens (check with Console.app)? Does the patch work with local files (with asynchronous mode enabled and disabled)?
