yeah - after sending the previous message I realized that it kind of
made sense that this wasn't possible... Maybe it would be a
convenience if in that context it simply unpublished the outputs and
gave a warning indicating that it had been done

All of the "Environment" patches are "Renderer" patches (pink
titlebar) and, due to QC's graph evaluation model, Renderer patches
cannot have outputs --- so it makes sense that you wouldn't be able
to paste a patch with a published output into an Environment.
(However QC could certainly provide a more informative error
message..)
