Very cool Michael—I imagine QC would be useful for your line of work. I just tested created an app with Kineme’s QuartzBuilder to stream video into a borderless floating window and it seemed to work OK in 10.6, including in full screen. It may prove useful in knocking out quick apps for you. http://kineme.net/product/QuartzBuilder
Although I wasn’t able to have the QC control the window size, which is probably due to some mistake of my own, but possibly due to this feature breaking in 10.6. I’ve emailed one of the Kineme guys. re: Video in Keynote, I *believe* that the video input is disabled in some uses of Quartz Composer, for example when rendered online, for safety. /Keith.
