I am trying to use the optical digital audio input as audio input into Quartz composer. However, I am struggling with getting Quartz to see the optical audio input as a source. Ideally, I would like for this to work with an Alesis Blackface ADAT. 8 discrete channels of audio. *But I would be interested in any information regarding utilizing that input with quartz*
Other forums have said there are software solutions, but I am hesitant to randomly download. Could anybody atleast point me in a direction? Don't tell me I am the only one trying to use this connection? Thats silly.
