So I have two issues left after removing the entire ~/LibraryGraphics/ folder and cleaning out /Library/Graphics and System/Library/Graphics of a few Noise Industry plugins I still get the error log window message saying:
[13:54:47.497] <WARNING> Core Image filter "CIColorCube" input "inputCubeData" is of an unsupported class "NSData" I've always had this in Leopard and never got around to tracking it down so I guess it's migrated as it doesn't present when I launch other users on Lion MBP. Where else could it be hiding in my User Library? _____ Second thing is I was hoping Wacom support would be improved in QC4 but alas it seems to be worse. The reason I couldn't select any of the composition templates or click on the tips and getting started tabs was because I was using WACOM stylus to point and click. With the trackpad all is fine in that regard. So assuming the Template Chooser is not working with WACOM because it uses a .qtz file or two bad news on WACOM front. Guess I should look for latest WACOM driver to be sure. In Leopard using the tablet patch or the mouse patch if you were hit testing for a screen region (or more than one) and put the cursor on the edge of the region you could make the X,Y outputs go haywire as they fluttered around and it would kind of freeze up the composition for up to a few seconds depending on how slow the comp was running. I never logged a bug cause I was on an old version and it took me long time to realise it wasn't just mouse button bounce but an actual bug in the patch I'm pretty sure I eliminated the WACOM driver source in some other app. > wrote: > >> Yes Archim I have a dirty old Leopard instal in there via Migration >> Assistant.
