Hi folks, Many thanks to those that have given feedback on the proposed charter changes, we seem to be aligning well on the latest version of the text in the PR [1]. I'd like to encourage any one that didn't look yet to please do so.
Separately, I received an off-list question about whether congestion control should be explicitly called out in the charter. I only have an opinion on this as an individual, so I'd really like to hear others'. To focus the discussion on something tangible, I have opened a second PR [2] to propose a minor addition on top of the current text we seem happy with. If you feel strongly about whether or not we should mention congestion control, please take a look and comment on the PR or in reply to this email. We've made good progress on this topic so far. I'd like to give another week to further reviews before declaring the text final and walking it through the next steps needed for recharting. So consider this a call for final feedback on the PRs that closes on 2025-07-02 anywhere on earth.
