Hi. What you have done is ok, but you can get QWS to give you the instrument and bank changes a lot easier than you are currently doing. Simply change to an instrument while having the track properties open, and QWS will fill in the patch and bank fields for you. That, is what you put in the instrument list. When I got a new Roland keyboard last year and didn't know the banks, that's what I did. I would go to the beginning of the keyboard and change one patch. That would put me on patch 1, bank whatever. Then, knowing that, I can work from there. Using the event list is very time consuming and I hate to say it, unnecessary. All you need to double-check is that in your options dialog, alt o, o, midi in dialogs is checked. That will help you hugely. Hope that helps. From: Raymond C.
