Hi, this can be a number of things.
We need a bit more information though.
You say you're using your midi keyboard for input via usb, what are you
using for output, i.e., what are you playing the files on?
it might help us to know what keyboard you have also.

I am having a bit of a problem using QWS. I am getting some latency
whenever I use either the on-screen keyboard or my midi keyboard
connected by USB. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue,
