Which asio driver are you using?
That font you are thinnking of is Crisis. Its 1 gb size doesn't make it x
times better than your favorite font. Sure, it has really good instruments,
but they just don't sound good together. Some of them only work in certain
situations, and some of them, literally don't work at all, at least not with
Synth Font. I haven't tried it with Timidity yet, although it did work
pretty well witn Synth Font, just a little choppy and laggy, I guess because
it's a lot larger than anything I've used before.
