Try fluid, it's 1 tenth the size and infinitely better than the crisis I
last tried which was nowhere near .9 g.

That font you are thinnking of is Crisis. Its 1 gb size doesn't make it x
times better than your favorite font. Sure, it has really good
instruments, but they just don't sound good together. Some of them only
work in certain situations, and some of them, literally don't work at all,
at least not with Synth Font. I haven't tried it with Timidity yet,
although it did work pretty well witn Synth Font, just a little choppy and
laggy, I guess because it's a lot larger than anything I've used before.

Hi. Is this SGM soundfont the one that is around 0.9 GB? if so, the
darn thing locked up my meowing computer, so I will look into getting
acio thing working. I have acio, so...
