Hi, time signiture and zoom ratio are independent of each other which can be very useful when editing. To fix this, when you change to, to use your example, 3/4, press alt-v for view then either arrow to zoom or press z and change this value, in this case you'll want to change this to 3. This is common behhaviour in such editors and I for one hope it isn't changed.
hth.
Cheers!

this would be nice, but one thing that definitely needs work is when you use a time signature other than 4-4. For instance, if you're using 3-4, and you press left and right arrows to move forward one bar, it's still moving 4 beats at a time.
Also is there a way to select one beat instead of the whole bar?

Hi Ben,

Yep, that's what I've been doing. Perhaps here's a little feature
for Mr. Bowden to look at.

Blessings,

Johnny

If I understand you correctly, your wanting to listen to how fast the
chosen tempo is going to be before recording.

This is perfectly possible; if you turn the metronome on by pressing
f4 and then press control + r to record, the metronome will start
playing which should serve as a guide as to how fast you should play.

Depending on how you have configgured the metronome, this may record
some blank space, although since you get asked if you would like to
keep the current recording after you stop recording, this shouldn't be
much of a problem.
