If I'm not missunderstanding you, which is quite probable and definitely possible, then the note length can already be done.
alt L brings up the note length dialog, which I use very very often indeed.
I set all my drum notes to 0.06 ticks, because it helps if for example, I have to do ghost notes, and since drums *usually* trigger no matter the note length, it doesn't matter if you have them as 6 bars or 6 ticks

Hopefully I haven't just wasted your time with this..

Hi,
Just had a few feature requests to make for the next version of this great
program.
First, a paste overwrite feature. It would make things easier when copying
and pasting parts.
Second, something like the time expand, but for the lengths only. For
example, make notes 50 percent of their original length. Also maybe you could
have a tool to add or subtract a fixed amount to each note's length. Like
make each note one beat longer than it was before.
Am I making sense?
