Hi,
Not exactly what I meant. I was leaning toward just cutting or adding a
certain amount from the lengths of each note.
So you're just specifying how much shorter or longer you want the notes to
be than they originally were.
Also with the percent thing, make each note 75 percent of its original
length, for example.
It's kind of difficult to explain. The only reason I even bring it up is the
type of midi stuff I am playing with is kind of unusual. I know it doesn't
come up much in everyday stuff.

If I'm not missunderstanding you, which is quite probable and definitely
possible, then the note length can already be done.
alt L brings up the note length dialog, which I use very very often
indeed.
I set all my drum notes to 0.06 ticks, because it helps if for example, I
have to do ghost notes, and since drums *usually* trigger no matter the
note length, it doesn't matter if you have them as 6 bars or 6 ticks
Hopefully I haven't just wasted your time with this..

Hi,
Just had a few feature requests to make for the next version of this
great
program.
First, a paste overwrite feature. It would make things easier when
copying
and pasting parts.
Second, something like the time expand, but for the lengths only. For
example, make notes 50 percent of their original length. Also maybe you
could
have a tool to add or subtract a fixed amount to each note's length. Like
make each note one beat longer than it was before.
Am I making sense?
