OK, here goes trouble.

From the text at http://andrelouis.com/qws/art/art007.htm:

The process is fairly straightforward. Press CTRL-N to load a plugin,
browse to the DLL for the synth you want to load and open it. Now
you'll have a window in an MDI (multi-document interface) that shows
the title of the current synth. This shows what synth changes will
apply to.

Success. So fa, so good.

Now, to set up each synth and tell it what MIDI Yoke to use, go to the
Engine menu and select MIDI Devices.

*** Pause article ***

Hold it right there. There is no MIDI Devices item on the Engine
menu. Furthermore, the hot-key for the Engine menu pull-down, Alt+N,
doesn't work. That's another problem, I know, just thought I'd point
it out. The only thing having to do with MIDI on the Engine menu is to
configure the MIDI player, nothing about devices. I can, however, go
to the Devices menu (ALT+D) and select the input yoke device from
there.

OK, everything appears properly set. Now then, how is a .SF2 or .SFZ
file loaded into the SFZ plug-in?
