Hmm, I never used midi clock so I wouldn't have thought of that.
but when I turn it on, I indeed have the same problems that are coming up!
Thanks very much for figuring that out!

midi clock may be what is causing the issue. I have windows 7 and qws
has alwyas worked like a charm. I play all mi midis on it as well!
also, make sure that you clean up all tracks before playing,
transposing, editting. This is good practice, especially if you have
midi files created or obtained from other sources. Soundfonts are
probably also a good idea. Since bassmidi can be opened more than one
time (you can use it in winamp and qws at the same time) make sure
there is nothing that has the port opened.

Hi,
I will do. Maybe there's something hidden we just didn't bother
looking at.

Hi,
Regardless of whether there are any physical MIDI IN Devices, check if
Windows and QWS are reporting any logical MIDI IN devices. Please
check in Options -> Ports.
For an example, refer to the Article on the QWS website regarding
configuring VstHost.
Hope this helps.
James.

I thought of that too. and I think I told them this. I'm almost sure
none of
them have any midi in devices at all. They're stuck with the onscreen
keyboard.
