Someone here mentioned something about wanting BassMIDI as their default sound source on their computer. This is easy to do.
First install BassMIDI and load a soundfont you like to it. For Windows: Click on Start, then Control Panel, then Sound and Multimedia Devices. CTRL+TAB to the Audio tab, and tab down to playback device. Choose BassMIDI as your default. Tab to Ok and hit the space bar. Close Control Panel. For QWS: Go to the Options menu, and select Ports. In the drop down box select the Microsoft Wavetable Synth. Clear the check box to use it as a device and click on Ok. This should set both QWS and Windows to use BassMIDI and whatever sound font you load as your default. Questions?
