Hi, a slight correction:

Type 0 is a single track, typically it can contain multiple channels
of MIDI data.

Type 1 contains multiple tracks.

Type 2 is also a multitrack format, but the diference between type 1
and 2 is that in type 2, each track goes along at its own tempo.

QWS supports MIDI type 0 and 1.
