Hi,

After using the Split tools, you never need to Undo, as the original
is always kept. If you start with 1 track and do a Key Split on it,
you'll end up with 3 tracks: the original, the inclusive and the
exclusive.
More info in the Manual, Tools section.

For deleting a melody, I normally go straight to the Note Editor and
hit the Delete key on the notes I want to remove. Hope this helps.
