Note that the MT-32 isn't a GM layout -- it's the inspiration for the GM structure, but it has some differences. I'm looking for a good MT-32 sound font myself, as the one I found (the CM-64, which has the MT-32 sound list) isn't good enough. If you do find one I've got an instrument definition file I'm working on for the MT-32 sound map, which poses some interesting problems due to the nature of the channel stuff -- the MT-32 plays back on channels 2-9 for instruments and 10 for drums, with only one drum map, so there's some fudging that has to be done to cover that range of MIDI channels because the QWS instrument definition format doesn't have anything to account for a range of MIDI channels.
