I have thought about It and I think this same. For example, first port
is used mostly for GM things. So, there is a transposition, switching
musical instrument is also good.
But, this secound port is used for those things, which are also can't
awaylable on QWS, for example as I have written to Damian e'mail, legato
function, which can change sound to legato and various scale tunings,
for example arabic tuning, which uses quarter tones. Those things are
ofcourse in My keyboard.
But, there is not any choice to play with ports and sometimes with
transposes too, everything on QWS.

If it's anything like my old Yamaha keyboard, it has one USB port
that encompasses one input and two outputs, the very strange thing
being that both of the two outputs enable or disable certain
functionality, and both provide different sets of effects on the
sounds (the second port on mine might sometimes even change the
octave, which could make things very confusing).
I'm guessing the first is for more GM based stuff while the second is
the vendor-specific port? I'm no expert on this stuff but it

I've been trying to establish Marco's situation all day so I can try
and help him, not realising of course that virtual MIDI is different
to virtual audio, in that you can't seem to chain cables together.
Very frustrating.
Having said that, I agree with you in that I don't think that's his
solution - even if it were to be chained, because of the way the
keyboard sends, receives, and processes data, my theory is you'll get
doubled sound at best, or go into a feedback loop at worst.

cable isn't going to do anything for you. Does your Yamaha have a
USB port? If it has only one then chances are good that'll have both
ports of information on it.
