Dear Eric,
This is too great! I quickly changed |> to %>% and it worked like margic.
Ben suggested that earlier but I thought I had to open the installed
'magrittr' with gedit in order to edit it.

Following your pointers now, I simply changed the |> in my code to %>% to I
have great success and peace.
