Hi,
I want to use R on my mac. I can either download the mac version and
use it there, or I can download it through windows on my mac and use
the windows version.
Which one would you recommend? My only concern about running the
mac version is it said the MAC version may be incomplete.
Said incomplete by whom? And in what way?
R on the Mac is complete.
With regard to R extensions (not R itself, but extensions), there are
some, only a few, I believe, packages not available as binary
downloads from CRAN. But in all cases, I've been able to build or
obtain the ones I need. There may be a very small number of packages
available only for Windows.
Thanks!
Mito
