Are we having an argument here?  We're both saying a module system should
protect against the disasters.  Is it the "that forbids mutation of
bindings" part I'm not understanding?  Does a module system have to forbid
mutation of bindings within a module, or just to forbid such a mutation from
affecting other modules?
