You keep insisting on this, and I just don't think it's true. REPLs are
important, but you keep elevating them to an intrinsic unique property of
the Scheme language. It is *not*. Scheme makes it possible to have a REPL,
it's nice, it's good, and it's useful, but it is a pragmatic vehicle, and
should be addressed as a pragmatic one, not some principled high-level
philosophy that might reasonably apply to the Scheme language design
principles.
