I live in the UK. And my alarm will not bring up a radio station (though it'll pick up My Music). If I set an alarm during the day, that will work. It just gets up to mischief once I am asleep, and that makes the cause difficult to diagnose. Just now its Diagnostics say DNS not found and cannot ping - but it was working before I went to sleep. Infuriating. Yet another reset to do...
