I bought it for use in a bathroom (which in the UK has no power outlets). I plug it in elsewhere when it needs charging, but planned to leave it in the bathroom unless charging. I was just surprised to find that it behaves differently (ie. fully shutting down) when running on battery. Given how long it takes to start up, I'm not sure I like the new behaviour.
