I don't think it's my network as I can play music without any problems, it's only internet radio that has the problem. I read somewhere on these forums that increasing the buffer size fixes these issues, I'll try this when I get home.
My setup is a squeezeplug running SB Server connected to a bridge which connects wirelessly to my router.
