Actually, the consideration with TV's wasn't the availability of new
TV's, rather the availability of cheap set-top boxes that allowed old
TV's to work. The latter are already available for car radios,
providing a signal to old radios via FM re-transmission or aux inputs.
I fitted one this weekend (Acoustic Solutions ICS100) and it works
brilliantly.
