+1 on the above 2 points. This is why Napster works so well for my son.
He can stream music to his hearts content, and when he comes across a
track he likes, he just saves it to one of his Napster playlists that
I've set up for him. He can do this from either of our smartphones, or
from the web interface, and his songs magically appear in Napster on
the radio without any synching needed. His music is also kept seperate
from mine that way.

As a bonus, on my phone, I can save any streamed Napster songs into an
offline folder, and then the phone becomes a defacto ithingy.

Sorry if this sounds like an advert for Napster! I'm sure other music
subscription services have their benefits - but it just works
seamlessly with Squeezeboxes and it's kid friendly.

As stated previously - works for us!
