Thanks to those providing firmware links and assistance in this forum. I upgraded my squeezebox to smart radio, and then reverted back to squeezebox due to problems:
* Galaxy SIII could not find the radio on WiFi or with pin. The smart radio did associate with my uesmartradio.com account. * Deal breaker = the smart radio does not allow a custom or manual URL for a streaming station. I sub to Acoustic Alternative streaming and must be able to enter an IP:port to listen. uesmartradio.com has no user controlled favorites as does mysqueezebox.com * UE smart radio does not show album art for current playing song. Squeezebox radio does....i like seeing album art (same as songs in Pandora). * UE smart radio screen has red ! icon over the battery icon, this does not show on Squeezebox radio. Is the firmware provided in this forum a early copy? Possibly buggy/lacking features? Logitech should accept forum input and provide "advanced" features by turning on a hidden "advanced" menu for those that want it....a much better option than dumbing down your products and loosing your existing technical users. I have always liked Logitech products, but am finding what I see with the UE smart radio troubling. Hopefully the "official" squeezebox > smart radio firmware update will be something existing users will want to do!
