I doubt if 1000 people would contribute as there are other ways to find the playable URLs for the stations. New firmware is practically impossible as very very few people have built a new version of firmeare from scratch If you are not running LMS then new firmware is not needed - just a small applet but usually this sort of applet needs a developer who really needs the facility rather than the cash.
