Over the past decade my preferred distro has changed from Redhat to SuSE to Ubuntu.
RedHat and SuSE each took turns for the worst IMO. Each time this happens I've found distrowatch <http://distrowatch.com/> useful for checking out what's available. You can also get an idea of popularity from this site. Does anyone on this list know of good Ubuntu Personal Package Archives for the some of the fast moving projects us Ruby folk rely on? i.e. Ruby, nginx, etc? I've been thinking of creating some but there will be some work to maintain them so if someone else is already doing a good job I'd rather take advantage of that. thanks, Mike On Sun, Nov 28, 2010 at 12:48 AM, Michael Cindric < [email protected]> wrote: > Same we have been using ubuntu for years for all our apps.
