I admire your zeal and diligence Noel.
I earnestly believe that baptism should be left until a child is 14 or 15.
As a child of 5-8 (SA - Buckaroo age) there is no real understanding of the spiritual significance of baptism. Sure parents who pushed their child into baptism at a young age will argue - but nothing has more significance on a teenager than standing up and proclaiming their allegence to Christ and His kingdom - before their peers.
Please don't rob them of that powerful experience.
Victor.

All,
The last two weeks we had five boys get saved.
These boys are Straight Arrows and Buckaroos.
On Nov 11 in the evening service we will be haveing a
water baptism. I would really like to see all five of these
boys be baptized. What would be a good way to talk of the importance of water baptism to this age group?
Thanks,
