Clint, good word. As always, when God is leading, why go any other direction?

I read no where in the Word of any age recommendations concerning baptism. Neither do those who would discourage you from doing so. One of my greatest experiences in rangers was in june of '99 when we baptised 7 rangers, the eldest of whom was 11. The youngest was five. While we were baptising these seven boys, the Holy Spirit showed up and baptised seven others with the evidence of speaking in tongues. To me, this says that God Almighty approves of baptising these young boys, seeing that His Holy Spirit was so gracious to come and see it happen and touch others in such a great way. Better to listen to God, than man. Man will lead you astray every time. Keep up the good work! ----- Original Message ----- From: Victor Zalakos Sent: Sunday, October 14, 2001 5:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [RR] Baptism NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I admire your zeal and diligence Noel. I earnestly believe that baptism should be left until a child is 14 or 15. As a child of 5-8 (SA - Buckaroo age) there is no real understanding of the spiritual significance of baptism. Sure parents who pushed their child into baptism at a young age will argue - but nothing has more significance on a teenager than standing up and proclaiming their allegence to Christ and His kingdom - before their peers. Please don't rob them of that powerful experience. Victor. At 03:41 PM 14/10/2001 -0600, Spirit Rider wrote: All, The last two weeks we had five boys get saved. These boys are Straight Arrows and Buckaroos. On Nov 11 in the evening service we will be haveing a water baptism. I would really like to see all five of these boys be baptized. What would be a good way to talk of the importance of water baptism to this age group? Thanks, Noel "Spirit Rider" Bell _____ Get more from the Web.
