Maybe some additional field in cache xml? eg.:
<batch-queue>A</batch-queue>

After processing there is added <exported> mark -> there is no problem to
remove the batch sign then.

The xmls are opened anyway
I have thought about it...but what should happen when rawstudio quits after 10 images has been placed in queue and not exported? They will look like they are in the queue..but are not...

and it should :) Why in this case photo shouldn't be added to queue?

How each photo is marked for queue? Some memory table
It still doesn't work right, what if you open an other directory. The photos aren't added before the old directory is opened again...and we are back at having a lot of batch dependency when opening a directory...

The batch queue is a gtk list which is showed live in the batch tab.
