Nice, everything works a lot better, with svn2181. Thanks.

I noticed a small bug when opening a directory with invalid x3f file (I
sometimes get such files, when the battery dies after a shot, but
before writing data to the CF, ending with an empty file). Rawstudio
did not fail gracefully, telling the user something is wrong with one
or more images, it just segfault... 
Does anyone notice the same issue with some other raw file formats?
