That is not a small bug ;) Two problems actually. metadata loader crashing, fixed as of trunk revision 2185. dcraw crashing upon clicking the file. Unsolved for now. The supported file extensions can be extracted from trunk like this: grep rs_filetype_register_meta_loader plugins/*/*.c Then create empty files with the appropriate extension and try to start Rawstudio.
