Hi guys I'm a bit curious. I'm guessing that desaturation isn't the same as it used to be, and it'd be interesting to get a bit more insight into the change. In days of yore, I would do most of my B/W conversions by desaturating an image and tweaking the white balance. As it is now, even minor tweaks to the white balance will change the image drastically, and quickly to the point of uselessness. Of course, now we can use the channel mixer instead, so it's still quite possible to make decent B/W conversions. So what's the change?
