Thanks, good to see the Beta ... Two areas of concern at this time.
Ubuntu 10.10 -- from the ppa

1.) No metadata showing up of any kind.

2.) Output profile: Using sRGB file output (to a 16 bit PNG file) the
thumbnail looks correct in Digikam but regardless of my profile settings
when the image is opened it looks terrible. I then need to apply sRGB to
the image to restore correct colouration. It would almost appear that
the image itself is being saved without a readable profile for this
program but the profile has been correctly applied to the thumbnail.
If I tell Digikam to make my default display profile "sRGB
Built-in" (which I assume is the RS output profile) I still do not get
back to the RS display colouration.
Opening the image in Cinepaint I receive a message that "Either the
image or display profile is undefined" and the uncorrected result is
unusable but changes correctly if I apply a sRGB profile.
Open with Shotwell .... unusable
Open with Firefox ..... just fine
Opening the image in GIMP: this program asks whether to convert from
'sRGB Built-in' to 'sRGB' or keep as is and interestingly the either
result appears to produce correct results ... confusing!
Thus .. in order to use RS output for printing etc, I need to
individually open each image, apply a sRGB profile and then re-save. Not
much fun!

I hope this is a solvable situation prior to release. Looks like
different programs are looking for different profile information.
