I have found that in the last few 'daily' versions that the Crop box often initially snaps to the image limits rather then letting me define the area. At first I did not see what was happening and was confused but it is a small thing that I now have become used to pulling it back into the correct area.
The 'edit with GIMP' is nice if 8 bit work is to be done on the image; how difficult would it be to allow the outside editor to be specified in the preferences .... ie. 16 bit Cinepaint?
