I cannot replicate what you have. I changed my Color settings to match exactly what you have, and today still comes up highlighted clearly. My variable is initialized to null. Shown here:What version are you using? Do you have any other settings checked on other calendar tabs? And unfortunately my previous "solution" doesn't work. I cannot have "white" as the Date Selected Background color. You click a day, you can see the highlight, but as soon as you move to another control (like my 2nd calendar), your first selection totally disappears and is no longer highlighted. So far I've changed the background to a very light grey so at least it isn't as noticeable as the default blue, but it still looks like a date has been selected in both calendars.

It looks like this As you can see the enddate does not show today. the settings for the enddate are and the only one I have changed is Todays Date Frame: So you can compare the settings of this example with the settings in your own application. Here's my property page and how the form comes up with a null initialized variable. When I was previously playing around with it, it does indeed seem to be the "frame" around the blue highlight as it says. Changing it to white causes no frame around the highlight, but it does not get rid of the blue highlight. Thinking that I might submit an enhancement request to highlight NO date Karen -----Original Message----- From: Tony IJntema <t.ijnt...@cio-bv.nl> To: rbase-l@googlegroups.com Sent: Sat, Aug 29, 2020 4:01 pm Subject: Re: [RBASE-L] - Enhanced Variable calendar Karen, You can make today invisible Change Todays Date frame for instance to White then Today is not highlighted anymore Tony Op 29-8-2020 om 19:47 schreef 'Karen Tellef' via RBASE-L: They are two different variables, and they are initialized to null when the form comes up Karen -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Chitiea <rby...@safesectors.com> To: rbase-l@googlegroups.com <rbase-l@googlegroups.com> Sent: Sat, Aug 29, 2020 12:26 pm Subject: Re: [RBASE-L] - Enhanced Variable calendar #yiv9675964413 #yiv9675964413x9b71fcd6adf34b0 #yiv9675964413xce0a6bc6429748f68a1fbd60505e23fd, #yiv9675964413 #yiv9675964413x9b71fcd6adf34b0 #yiv9675964413xce0a6bc6429748f68a1fbd60505e23fd #yiv9675964413x0ffa9ca747a0444 #yiv9675964413x5341b55c703f4d708da1fcccafdd6cf1, #yiv9675964413 #yiv9675964413x9b71fcd6adf34b0 #yiv9675964413x86b4dd35dfc94ef5a5432fdb70f5f643{font-size:12pt;} #yiv9675964413 #yiv9675964413 --blockquote.yiv9675964413cite {margin-left:5px;margin-right:0px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:0px;border-left:1px solid #cccccc;}#yiv9675964413 blockquote.yiv9675964413cite2 {margin-left:5px;margin-right:0px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:0px;border-left:1px solid #cccccc;margin-top:3px;padding-top:0px;}#yiv9675964413 a img {border:0px;}#yiv9675964413 , #yiv9675964413 , #yiv9675964413 , #yiv9675964413 {list-style-position:inside;}#yiv9675964413 body {font-family:Segoe UI;font-size:12pt;}#yiv9675964413 .yiv9675964413quote {margin-left:1em;margin-right:1em;border-left:5px #ebebeb solid;padding-left:0.3em;}#yiv9675964413 Unique variables for the two dates? e.g. vplanningDate_required vplanningDate_optional Hi there, Bruce Bruce A. I have a form come up where the user is required to select one date, but the 2nd date is optional. "Today" comes up highlighted on both calendars, and my users are confused because they think the date is "selected" for the optional 2nd date. They try to click it off and can't, and end up inadvertently selecting a 2nd date. Is there a setting so that "today" is not highlighted?
