Hi Razzak, Karen & Anthon,

I seem to have solved this. I did this by changing the properties of 
RBG.chm firstly so it ran 'Maximized', then in a 'Normal window' - all 
worked as it should. I then tried setting it to run 'Minimized' and that 
work properly as well from R:Base - certainly not minimized though. So, 
almost 'by accident' things are back working as they should. I am not sure 
why this solved the problem, but at least I now have Help when required.
