Albert,

I agree with you that a "server" install would offer best of possibilities. 
Only problem is that if you purchase a single user license you are not offered 
"server" as an option for the initial install.

Would be nice if that was offered.

The difference is whether or not RBTI installs into the Windows directory or 
the R:Base directory where the executable resides. I always use Server update. 
The advantage is that one can operate with more than one version of R:Base 
without interference with other versions on the same computer.
