I have logmein on my iPhone. It is a little klunky to use, but in a couple of "emergencies" during vacations, it has been a life safer. It's the only iPhone app over $5 that I have ever purchased, but it has definitely paid for itself. You pinch it smaller to orient yourself, and pinch it bigger to zoom in and click or type stuff.
