I hope this can be incorporated in an update for us 32 bit Windows users.

Joan,

There are technical reasons why certain features are not included in
R:BASE eXtreme 9.x (32). Mostly it has to do with keeping the schema
and all internal system tables that must be backward compatible with
R:BASE 7.x, etc. Otherwise, upgrading to 9.x (32) will only be one
way and you cannot connect R:BASE 7.x (DOS or Windows) versions at
the same time using the same database. This is all by design.

Having said that, if you wish to take advantage of all features, tools,
and speed in R:BASE eXtreme 9.x (64), you CAN upgrade your existing
R:BASE eXtreme 9.x (32) license(s) to R:BASE eXtreme 9.x (64) license(s)
for a very minimal cost (not the cost of new licenses), if you wish.

Hope that helps!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
