Jan:  Thanks for your input. By looking at your zip file, I can tell that a
lot of work went into it.  I'm not sure exactly what the benefit of using
variable forms and have actually never used one.  I always deal with data
directly, so I guess all my forms are "bound".  I've also never used eeps
much, but since they are now able to be placed into the form, I think I
will be using them a lot, once I figure out how to do it.

What I'd like to do with the appt. scheduler is when I hover over a date in
the little calendar, the grid shows all the appointments for that date and
none other.  When I click on the calendar date, my cursor should go into
the grid for editing, adding, etc. rows.

Is that possible without herculean programming effort?
