By looking at your zip file, I can tell that a : lot of work went into it. I'm not sure exactly what the benefit of using : variable forms and have actually never used one. I always deal with data : directly, so I guess all my forms are "bound". I've also never used eeps : much, but since they are now able to be placed into the form, I think I : will be using them a lot, once I figure out how to do it. : : What I'd like to do with the appt. scheduler is when I hover over a date in : the little calendar, the grid shows all the appointments for that date and : none other. When I click on the calendar date, my cursor should go into : the grid for editing, adding, etc. rows. : : Is that possible without herculean programming effort? : : On Tue, Sep 4, 2012 at 8:10 AM, jan johansen <[email protected]>wrote: : : > Bill, : > : > Let me just say that I only use "bound" forms when dealing directly with : > data. : > So the answer to your question is yes, when using variable forms. : > So I can use a variable date/time picker and directly affect a variable : > list view. : > : > Jan : > : > -----Original Message----- : > From: William Stacy <[email protected]> : > To: [email protected] (RBASE-L Mailing List) : > Date: Mon, 3 Sep 2012 14:16:45 -0700 : > Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: My wish for an R:base appointment book : > : > for starters, can you put a calendar/date picker thingy at the top of a : > form and have a grid below update whenever you select a date in the : > calendar?
