I don't believe that there is a "on hover eep" for the calendar (i think there is something for another control) so you can't do one of the things you want.

What I'd like to do with the appt. scheduler is when I hover over a date in the little calendar, the grid shows all the appointments for that date and none other. When I click on the calendar date, my cursor should go into the grid for editing, adding, etc. rows. Is that possible without herculean programming effort?
